Outlook does not respond?

Outlook 2003 has suddenly decided not to repond and freezes. No new
conflicting programs. Word 2003 could not be opened as the editor, so
deselected that option and can reply to one message and then outlook freezes
again. No virus or spyware detected. All folders are kept free of old mail. I
do receive mail or at least I think I am. This started two days ago. Used
Office detect and repair help but that did not correct the issue. Find
nothing on MS help to on trouble shooting Outlook...strange. Stumped.
 
I had the same problem with mine a while back. ...and also that IE would stop
responding. I had several browser toolbars installed at the time, removed
them all, and the problem with Outlook and IE immediately stopped. I now run
only MSN toolbar (which still pales in comparison to Google) yet have not had
the problem again.

I have exactly the same problem. Have you managed to resolve it? If so, could
you please let me know how?
