Outlook Disconnecting...

I set up Outlook to give me the log on screen everytime I start it--all I
have to do is enter password. Problem is that after it retrieves some
messages it disconnects from the ISP & the log on screen pops up again.
After this happens 2 or 3 times, it stays connected without problem. Is
there some setting that I inadvertedly changed or one I should change????

Thank you for your answer but I don't mind entering the password when I log
on.. its the fact that I get disconnected (leaving OUtlook open) as soon as
messages are retrieved. I thought there might be a setting that I missed
that makes it do that....
