How do you divide an existing contact list in half, i.e., a-m and n-z?

Do you mean a contact folder or distribution list? I don't think there's any
reason to split a folder that way unless you're over the item number limit
(16K or 64K). I'm not sure about the dist list thing

It is his (my boss') group of contacts. When searching for an entry, there
are so many, it takes forever to find one. I thought if I could make it into
two groups, it would be easier to search and access.
