Outlook connector

First, I am using Office Pro 2002 with SP3.

I installed Outlook Connector. It worked very well however, when I
uninstalled it and tried running Outlook again, I got the following error
message:

"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. An unexpected error has occurred. MAPI was
unable to load the Information service msoc.dll. Be sure that the service is
correctly installed and configured."

I clicked OK and Outlook shut down.

I reinstalled Office 2002 from the install disk. Same problem. I uninstalled
Office and reinstalled Office again, still same issue. I reinstalled Outlook
Connector and Outlook qill now open, but it is still connecting to Lotus
Notes and I don't want that to happen anymore. Is there a registry edit that
someone knows that could get Outlook to operate normally again and find the
default folders?

Start Outlook in safe mode and remove the connector by going to Tools->
Options-> tab Other-> button Advanced Options...-> button Add-In Manager...

If you switch to a new type of mail account it is best that you start with a
clean profile;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...
