Outlook connector remove hotmail

My email (hotmail) was hacked (BTW no one at MS seems to give a sh^t) so i've
created a new hotmail account. I can see how to add a hotmail account to the
connector but can not see how to remove an account. it keeps prompting for
the password to the account that was hacked. (and hacker actually seems to be
using the account because he/she has replied back to one of my test messages)

ANyway, I think I've got the contacts backed up but want to rid outlook of
the the old account/data. and hopefully restore the contacts to the new email
acct, and will hopefully migrate up to hotmail, then hopefully will properly
re-sync with my smart phone. I have a feeling that won't go well.

So did you ever go to your Hotmail account using their webmail interface
to change your password to login? Or can't you get logged in? Did you
ever try using their Forgot Password procedure? Did you ever provide an
alternate e-mail address in your Hotmail account to which they could
send you a new password?

Why would anyone providing you with free services also be forced or even
expected to provide you with support for something you don't pay for?
Gee, do YOU work for free? Your employer would really love to know that
so they could double your work time and not pay you for it. So, did you
ever submit a trouble ticket?

The Outlook Connector is to only add Deltasync support so it has only
one purpose: to support Windows Live Hotmail accounts. The "Tools ->
Email Accounts" wizard is used to define POP, IMAP, HTTP/WebDAV,
and Exchange accounts, not HTTP/Deltasync accounts. Read the article at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/officelive/FX102473521033.aspx under
the "Use Microsoft Office Outlook to manage your e-mail" section. That
dialog is NOT under the "Tools -> Email Accounts" wizard. You use the
add-on to define the account, not the old wizard in Outlook. As I
recall, the route to creating an account the control of this add-on
is Tools -> Email Accounts --> Add a new account but go under OTHER
accounts. You would think the add-on would also manage the accounts it
is handling but perhaps deleting an account requires you to still use
the old wizard under Tools -> Email Account -> View existing accounts
and delete from there. Did you try that yet?
