Outlook closes when print dialog box appears

In Outlook 2000 (sp3) on Windows 2000 (sp4)...when a user opens a message and
goes to File--Print Outlook completely closes on him.

I searched the kb, but saw nothing on Outlook 2000 with these symptoms. He
has no add-ins or 3rd party apps associated with Outlook.

Any ideas?

I have heard this happening when using the xprint add-on for printing
custom forms, make sure thats not installed. Could also be the printer
driver, or the format in which he is trying to print.

This is happening to two users at my company as well. They are on Windows
2000 Pro (5.00.2195) SP4 using Outlook 2003 (11.5608.5606) on MS Exchange
Server 2003 and they try to print an email and after they choose thier
printer and click print Outlook closes with no error just closes. (Seems to
be sporadic and other users can print out the emails that causes these users
to crash/close.)

Our experience is that Xprint (Add-in) on Outlook2003 will work, but is not
supported in MS. There is no 'replacement' addin for Outlook2003.
For Outlook 2000, ver 8522 is more stable
