Outlook - characters are cut off down the left side of the page

When printing from Outlook 2002 (XP) to a local HP LaserJet 1100
A half of a character is cut off, all the way down the left hand side
of the page.

If the user prints to any other printer (on the network) it works, and
if the user prints from any other program to the local printer it will
work fine.

I have ran “detect and repair” updated the printer drivers, reset the
margins, uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook and Office.
 
Press winkey-break(or start/run 'sysdm.cpl') ,/Hardware tab Open the Device
manager and click the + sign next to Ports(COM & LPT). select the printer
port, e.g. ECP Printer Port (LPT1). Port Settings tab check the 'Enable
legacy Plug and Play detection'
