Hi, I am not able to export or import in my calendar without getting the
above error. I would like to export from my work calendar tab-separated
values and import these appointments into my home calendar or vis-versa and I
keep getting this Mapi Error whether I am trying to import or export. I have
a XP Professional OS with SP2, and Outlook 2002, SP3. I have made sure I am
updated in Office and Windows at the Windows update site and I did a search
in the Microsoft FAQ and this particlular error is not mentioned. Any help
you can offer would be appreciated. Thank you.

No export or import needed or desired. Create a new PST with
File>New>Outlook Data File. Right-click your Calendar folder and choose
Copy. Select the new PST as the destination. You'll now have a
transportable file containing your entire calendar. [You can, of course,
copy individual items rather than the entire calendar.} When the copy
completes, close the new PST by right-clicking it and choosing Close. Close
Outlook. You can then put the new PST on a transfer medium, like a CD.

On the destination machine, copy the PST from the transfer medium to some
folder on your hard drive, taking care not to overwrite any file of the same
name. Remove the read-only attribute, if any, and start Outlook. Click
Tools>Open>Outlook Data File, browse to the new PST, select it, and click
OK. You'll now have access to its contents and you can move the contents of
its Calendar folder to your current Calendar. [You won't be able to move
the entire folder because your current message store already contains one.
You can select all the items in it, though, and move them with one Copy.]
