outlook calendar does not show appts and mtgs

When I receive a mtg or appt invite it does not post to my calendar.
Only when I accept the invite does it post.
I do not want to auto accept.
Anyone know how to do this.

Until you accept the meeting, it should be in your calendar as "Tentative".
Does this not happen?

It does not post to my calendar as tentative. It does not even show up on my
calendar. Only when I accept the mtg invite does it post on my calendar.
I tried setting "auto accept" but I do not want to auto accept everything
that comes in.

If you click the "Calendar" button on the invite before accepting it, does
it show in the calendar window that opens?
