Ok, Zonealarm aparently has some antispam 'feature' that has multiple
limitations for advanced configurations. According to the FAQ at ZoneAlarm:

2. Will ZoneAlarm Anti-Spam work with Outlook or Outlook Express rules?

Currently ZoneAlarm Anti-Spam only filters email as it enters your inbox. If
you use Outlook or Outlook Express rules to send email to folders as it is
received, ZoneAlarm Anti-Spam will not see the email and, therefore, will
not filter it.
