Outlook Attachments

I would like to to know how to change how Outlook2003
handles attachments. Outlook no longer places attachments
in a list box under the subject line in an email message;
it places the attachment in the body of the message. I
don't know how it changed or how to set it back.

Thanks...

It's based on the message format - tools, options, mail format and change
it to plain text or html, not Rich Text.

Actually I have the opposite problems. When I receive email in Outlook
2003 the attachments (.jpg, etc.) are in a small text boxt under the
addresses. I would like to see them in the body of the email without
opening them each specifically. When I used OE it worked this way.

My current settings are: HTML Format / Use Word to edit email messages
and NOT to use word to edit rich text messages.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

You are correct. Outlook Express works that way. Outlook does not. The only
images that appear in the message body in Outlook are images that have been
embedded. That's how it's designed.
