outlook attachments

how do i choose the program that outlook uses to open attachement. It
currently uses picture viewer to open and I would rather have Adobe open the
attachements since they are generally faxes

You modify the file extension association from within Windows. The actual
process varies depending on if you have Windows XP or Vista. If you post
back with the OS you are using, I can include the steps...or just Google it.

You will need to know what the file extension is (or are...you didn't
mention the file types you are referring to). Then just follow the
directions and change the file extension to open with Acrobat (assuming
Acrobat is capable of opening the files you want it to open).
