Is there a freeware program that will delete email attachments from the
email and replace it with a link to the folder they are saved to on the
harddrive?

I don't remember whether Free Agent does POP3, but if it does, that's
what it does when you save the attachment. (To make that a little
more clear, that's what Agent does. If Free Agent does POP3, it would
do the same thing.)
