Outlook attachments received as winmail.dat by Eudora user

As a Eudora user I have recently been receiving MSWord attachments from one
sender only, as winmail.dat files that I can't read. Any idea what settings
that person might have -- in Outlook or other settings -- that might affect
readability by Eudora user? Product versions: Sender: Outlook 2003 and
MSWord 2003, Windows XP Pro; receiver: Eudora 5.1 and MSWord 2003, Windows XP
Pro.
 
Make sure the Outlook user isn't sending the mail in Rich Text Format. Best
bet would be for them to use Plain Text
