Outlook Attachements

After I have updated my Outlook 2000, I cannot open .pdf
files. Every time I double click on a pdf file received
from the sender, the Adobe 6.0 runs, and it says cannot
view the attachement. "suppress further errors". No
document shows up. etc.
 
Can you open the file if you safe it to the file system first and open it
from Windows Explorer?
