Outlook attach can't see .zip files

When trying to attach a .zip file to an email message Outlook doesn't
recognize or see the zip files in the directory. Windows explorer shows them.
The user does have WINZIP installed.

Odd*, have you tried what is mentioned here to see if it corrects the issue?
