Outlook archive

My Outlook 2000 has archived several megabite of old e-
mails. How do I delete these?
 
In OL, File/Open/Personal Folders......browse to the location of the
archive.
The Archive Folder behaves exactly as your cuurent Folder.Then do a
permanent delete of mail, as required.
You can keep the Archive folder showing in the 'tree view' within OL. theres
no need to remove it
