Outlook and IMAP

I have problems with Outlook 2003 and IMAP (Kerio 6.0.8). It is strange that
it gives error from time to time for problems with IMAP connection. If I use
Outlook Express there are not any problems...

Did you have problems with Outlook 2003 and IMAP?

My second strange problem is a conflict between Outlook 2003 and MSN
Browser. When I install and use MSN Browser my Outlook 2003 just stop
working with IMAP...

what specifically is your first problem with IMAP and Outlook? What error
message?

The message is:
"Your IMAP server has closed the connection. This may occur if you have left
the connection idle for too long"



This is strange, because Kerio supports concurent access to IMAP folders.

IMAP does support concurrent connections (that's one benefit of using IMAP
for some) but it seems they are setting a timeout. I'd try to set an
automatic send/receive to the account every 5 or 10 minutes and see if it
keeps it alive.
