Outlook Address Book Name order

Why do some names in my address book appear as "LastName, FirstName" and
others as "FirstName LastName" when all views of the name are entered as LN,
FN in the Full Name, File As, Display As fields?

I found the solution under tools, options, contact options, name order.
Thanks anyway.
