My set-up in a flash:

exchange 5.5 on NT 4.0 sp6a server
Users use Outlook 2000 to get email.

One user, and ONLY one user is having the following problem...

She will be in here email, all nice and splendid, then all of the
sudden she will try to look at an email and the preview pane tells her
it cant display it and eveything acts as though it isnt connecting to
the exchange server. The computer (Win XP Pro) has all connectivity to
the network and network drives and the internet...

Closing outlook and reopening it seems to fix the problem! I have done
a "Detect and Repair" twice and have even installed all the latest
service packs for outlook 2000... I am thinking of uninstalling
outlook and reinstalling that but wanted some more ideas from folks in
this NG before I wasted my time...
any thoughts?
thanks in advance!

Any firewall, add-in, or virusscanner you can disable to troubleshoot?
(don't forget them to turn back on afterwards). This way you can determine
whether it's Outlook causing the problem. Also try reinstalling the TCP/IP
protocol.

Express..every time i open it, it disconnects me from the
internet...any help??

Ask in an Outlook Express forum. This is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
