Outlook acting weird

Daniel Pena

Recently I had a problem with exporting my outlook pst file. I had to go
back into the setup and add the export feature. Since then I had a problem
with outlook not wanting to sync with my pocketpc.

I read some knowledgebase files and am at a point where I can now sync my
calandar, contacts and tasks but CANNOT sync my inbox. The error I get is
"Attention Required" and I cannot do anything with the inbox at all. Any
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Also...on the Outlook today main page I cannot customize Outlook any longer.
I push the button at the top right to change the layout, etc and nothing.

I had a problem with my new Samsung I-700 and syncing the
inbox. Ultimately, the tech from Samsung had me do a hard
reset of my I-700 and set in Options for the computer to
override the I-700 where there were conflicts between the
two devices on the same entry. This worked temporarily
and I set the options for conflicting entries to leave
them unresolved and let me choose which device to have
override. Unfortunately I got the message again after
syncing remotely a couple of days later.

Ultimately, I fixed it by setting in Options for I-700 to
override the desktop computer and that seemed to clear
the "attention required" message that you got. You may
want to set in options which device will override the
other in the case of a conflicting entry each time you
sync.

See if it works.
