Outlook 2K Alphabetic Navigation Bar

Using Outlook 2000, one of my clients is missing the alphabetic navigation
bar that normally sits on the right-hand side of the the Contact folder. The
one which starts with a button with 123 on it and progresses down through the
alphabet. It is used to jump to the first contact that begins with the
letter you clicked.

Can anyone tell me how to put it back in the view?

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanviews command line switch. This
switch (and a few other really helpful ones) are discussed here:
