Outlook 2007 uppercases first letter

In my signature (my email address) that I type manually Outlook changes the
first letter to upper case. When I press 'HOME' to return to the start of
the line to correct this the upper case letter gets underlined so Outlook
knows something is wrong. I change to lower case, press 'END' and then
'ENTER'. My email address turns blue and is underlined and the first letter
remains lower case.

This is very annoying. My wife has been complaining of the first letter of
lines being changed to upper case but it only happens to me as described
above.

What is annoying is the fact that the first letter changes from lower case to
upper case. Sorry I was not clear about that.

Go to the Mail Format tab in Tools | Options, then click the Editor Options
button. Click the Proofing link on the left and then the AutoCorrect Options
button. You can clear the checkbox for "Capitalize first letter of
sentences" there.
