Outlook 2007 Upgrade to color Categories

I am using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, I went to Personal
Folders/Properties under the General tab I pressed the "Upgrade to Color
Categories". There was a warning that this may take a significant amount of
time… How long is this “significant amount†supposed to take? I upgraded
over 3 months ago and I still have a notification in the lower right hand
corner of Outlook stating “Upgrading multicolored For Follow Up Flags to
Color Categories...â€

My Outlook 2007 is configured to receive & send mail from 3 different
POP3/SMTP servers, plus a Hotmail account and a Office Live account. I don’t
see any way of “Uninstalling or Undoing†the upgrade and I can no longer see
the Send/Receive status located in the same corner.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's usually measured in minutes, not days. Have you tried Office
diagnostics?

Office diagnostics, did not work, however I returned to the Personal
Folders/Properties under the General tab I pressed the "Upgrade to Color
Categories" again and now outlook has seemed to fix the problem.
