Hi,
I really like the outlook 2007 but I found that new email usualy does
not appear in my inbox when I start the client. I do notice that the
outlook indicating "updating folder" and after a while (after I see the
download bar counting the kb it downloaded) I get the message that "All
folders are up to date" (or something similar to this message). No
update to the index of messages at all.
The only way around it is to force "Send/Receive" and what happens
after that is - I have to wait maybe 15-20min while the Send/Receive
window is stuck on 97%... There is almost no network activity but my
disk does not stop working. Finally after 15-20min of waiting, the new
messages appear and the Send/Receive indicator in the pop-up window
reaches the 100% and disapear.
What is wrong with my outlook 2007? is this a known issue? is there a
way to resolve it?
I'm using XP SP2, my outlook.ost is about 790Mb (holding approx. 3
months of email) which had no problem on outlook 2003.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Gil.
