In Outlook 2003, we could select "properties" of a global address book group
and then select individual names from the group. At the bottom would be
buttons Add to: TO: CC: BCC:

This is done within a message. However, when I try to do the same think in
Outlook 2007, I do not get the buttons to add to the message only to my
contacts.

Once you return to the message with the DL in the To/CC/BCC field, you can
expand it by selecting the "+" next to the name. At this point you can
remove the names of folks that shouldn't be receiving the message.

That is not really a workable solution when you have a large group and only
want to send to a few of the people on the list. It was GREAT the way it
worked in 2003. Any chance of bring that feature back?

I don't work for Microsoft, but the next time I have a Microsoft employees'
ear I will demonstrate the behavior to them.
