I use Outlook 2007 to access my Hotmail account. However, when I reply or
forward an email the icon does not reflect this. Outlook Express on Windows
XP used to reflect this.
When I forward a message it says on the upper left hand of the email,
underneath the message options:
"You forwarded this message on 10/3/2007 at 2:34 PM"
Then when I close the email message it says:
"The properties of the message have been changed. Do you want to save the
changes?"
If I click "yes" it says:
"Messages on this server cannot be modified" and it doesn't close the
message. If I close the email again it brings up the same message saying the
properties of the message have been changed and gives me the same choice.
If I click "no" it simply closes the email and then I'm back in the main
inbox with a message that looks like nothing has been done to it. The same
things happen when I reply to a message. It's really frustrating.
I want to be able to see which messages I have responded to and which I have
forwarded etc... I would think this would be possible. If outlook express
was able to do this, why isn't Outlook 2007? thank you for your help
