Outlook 2007 Problem with colors

I just installed Outlook 2007.
Default colors in calendar options is blank. There are not any colors to
choose. The formant columns is greyed out.

Thank for the response.

Calendar view/monthly/high. There is no color definition or a grid to
separate the days and weeks only a faint horizontal line. If i right click
on the calendar and go to customized view the format columns is greyed out.
If I go to options/calendar options there are not any colors in the default
color button.
