Outlook 2007 mail will not accept a table paste

I created a table in Word 2007. I then went to paste it in an email in
Outlook 2007 and I got an error message that Outlook 2007 mail would not
accept the table. Indeed after pasting it all resemblance of a table was
lost.

I then pasted the same table in Windows Mail, and it accepted it.

How can I change Outlook 2007 so it accepts a paste of a table?

are you using HTML formatting in Outlook 2007? if so, what exactly did the
error message say?

Diane, your "are you using HTML format" comment solved it for me. I
duplicated the copy and paste, and when I read the message it said it could
not do the table in plain text format. I then looked at the bottom of the
error window and it said "change tohtml". I did and it worked. Thank you.
