outlook 2007 is deleting my web based emails

Hello,

I hope I have posted in the correct section, apologies if I havent.

Recently installed Outlook 2007, and made it so I recieve emails that are
sent to my web based uni email.

When I check for a message on my web uni email the message is there, however
when I check to see if the message in Outlook, it IS there, but the emails
have disappeared from my uni email!

I want to be able to use outlook at home, but use my uni email when im not
at home/ dont have my laptop.

If someone could please help me out, it would be appreciated.

Have you configured Outlook to download your messages from the server?
Instead, tell it to leave a copy on the server.
