Outlook 2007 - Formatting appearance of Calendar

Hello

Having recently upgraded to Outlook 2007, I can't seem to find how to format
my calendar to appear rather than in long vertical lines for each day, the
'old' way of having a week to view in wide boxes, running Monday to Wednesday
on the left side and Thursday to Sunday on the right. Is it possible to do?
I hope yes...!

thanks for reading!

Unfortunately, I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for.

On your Calendar, select the View menu, and then select Current View

On the menu that pops-up to the right, which option has a check mark next to
it (Day/Week/Month, etc.)?

Under the Current View entry on that same menu, it should display additional
items such as
Navigation Pane
To-Do Bar
Reading Pane
Daily Task List

Under those entries, there should be 4 more:
Day
Work Week
Week
Month
Is the calendar icon to the left of any of these entries highlighted? If so,
which one?

Hello

Thanks for your reply.

I am currently looking at the 7 day week view on my calender. Which is what
I want. But the actual format of the week is horrid on Outlook 2007. It has
the days running side by side for seven days in vertical columns.

In my earlier version of Outlook (2003) I could look at a 7 day week where
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ran in the left hand column in larger boxes,
and Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday were on the right hand column.

It's a petty thing I know, but it's driving me insane that I can't look at
my week the same way I used to!

I guess I'm asking where to find the formatting tool to change the layout of
hte week, back to how it looks in 2003.

Any ideas?
Thanks so much
Camilla

That view was removed from Outlook 2007.

I'm looking at an Outlook 2003 calendar, and I think I see what you mean,
now.

Unfortunately, I've been trying and trying and can't get Outlook 2007 to
come very close to that view. I'm not aware of a way to remove the time
scale to the left of the planner.
