,I am getting an immediate auto generated error message when sending a simple
Word attachement for non spamming purposes, to 19 recipients. The error
message is 501 char not allowed. How to correct this problem?

Post the entire error message (hiding any email addresses it might contain)

Usually means one of your recipient email addresses is incorrect. Allowed
characters in an email address are:

- the letter a through z in both upper and lower case
- the numbers 0 through 9
- the underscore character _
- the hyphen -
- a period . (just one in a row, not at the start or end of the address)

plus a few other special-use characters. Apostrophes, brackets, and other
punctuation should be avoided.

You are definitely a MVP Brian! I copied an email list of recipients and all
the addresses had quotes before and after them. Unlimited Kudos!

I actually have a similar problem, now that we've upgraded to Outlook 2007
from 2003. Occasionally when I click "reply", apostrophes are automatically
inserted around the address and the message is not sent. I have not been
able to determine why this happens sometimes and not others, and I never had
this problem in 2003.

Any ideas?
