when i open an individual contact window it is too big for the screen. i can
not see all the fields. i do not wish to change the screen resolution to see
all the fields.

i can find where / how to delete viewed fields given i am using the default
fields.

is there a solution ?

Temporarily change the screen resolution so you can see the entire window
and resize that window so that it is smaller and will fit on the screen at
the original resolution. Then set your resolution back to what you like.

"plazo"? Do you mean "Plaxo"? All bets are off, then, because there are
many reports of Plaxo screwing up the Outlook display.

So Brian's answer of "many reports of Plaxo screwing up the Outlook Display"
didn't tell you anything?

You've lost me now, since Outlook doesn't have an "address file" and even if
it did, display properties wouldn't be among the file properties.
