outlook 2007 categories

Would be most helpful if categories could be added to a single occurence in a
recurring series. Often, I need to reschedule one occurrence of a meeting
series due to calendar conflicts. I am not always able to reschedule on the
fly so have created a category for meetings that I need to reschedule. If
I've already assigned a category to the series, I'm unable to assign a
category to an additional category to that single occurrence.

if you need to reschedule, copy the occurrence and paste it - assign the
change to the now-single occurrence copy.
