Outlook 2007 bugs when launching

S

I recently tried to import/export my data to a new computer (Vista). I
copied the export file and the outlook.pst file to a flash drive, and then
imported it on the new computer. However, whenever I launch outlook in my
old computer (XP) now, Outlook will start, then before I can do anything, it
looks like it starts to load something - all of my "To Do" tasks dissappear,
but I can see the flags refresh in a looping fashion. My mouse dissapears
when it is inside the Outlook window, but fine outside in other apps. None
of the buttons work - it is like "frozen freezing". This also happens on the
Vista computer. We tried to let Outlook boot up all weekend, thinking maybe
it just needed lots of time, but that did not work. Any suggestions? Thank
you!

Export file? What is that?

Start with a new profile on each computer. Do not delete your current
profile or copy it. If you have more than 1 email acct, you only need to add
one to the profile to test it. If this works, run detect and repair (office
diagnostics in 2007).
