Outlook 2007 Autocomplete not working

I am using a new computer and imported my .pst file from my old one. The
autocomplete option is turned on but every day when my computer is powered
down it "forgets" all the contacts stored in autocomplete and I have to start
over. Is there any way to correct this?

Autocompletion has nothing to do with the data in your PST file (which
incidentally you have damaged by importing it). To get Autocompletion
working again, you'll need to create a new Outlook profile.
