Outlook 2007 Adds Recurrences

I create a new appointment without recurrence and save it. Everything is
fine. But if I open and save the appointment, Outlook adds a recurrence
[generally weekly]. Then I have to open the series and remove the
recurrence. Very irritating.

Apparently not. Although I do have a Dell PC with MediaDirect, the AddIns
didn't show MediaDirect. So I went into MediaDirect and disabled
InstantOffice. but the problem continues.

Was there an addin called "outlook setup addin"? That is the cause and needs
disabled.

Thanks. That worked once I got by the "The connected state of Office Add-ins
registered in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE cannot be changed." difficulty created by
Vista security.
