Outlook 2007 - ability to print part of a message

Having just bought Outlook 2007 and searched this newsgroup, I am amazed that
having added so many new features most of which I would never use in a
millenium, that you have forgotten something so basic as to be able to print
a part of a message.

Many users print out emails especially those in the service industries where
we need a record of what has been discussed. The emails go to and fro so
that there may be 20 pages.

I certainly don't want to print 19 pages one day and 20 pages the next; I
simply need to print the latest page ~ or even the ability to print
highlighted text would be better than nothing.

At the moment the only option I appear to have in memo style is to halve the
wastage by printing odd or even numbers.

Surely someone has my now come up with a plug in or a work-around?
Otherwise this is absolutely urgent as an update feature.

Hi Jesper,

Savvisoft have released Blueprint for Outlook Basic edition, an addin for Outlook which has been designed to simply enable you to reduce paper usage. As part of this, Blueprint enables you to select part of a message and print it whilst still retaining all the usual header information.

Hi Hayden

Many thanks for your reply. However I wasn't really looking to pay for any
add-in. MS Office & Outlook costs enough money, so I wan't looking to pay
more just to print off an email.

Of course I realise I can just use webmail which is free and print from
there but that just takes more time and kind of defeats the object of using
Outlook at all.

When, I think what I use Outlook for: To send, receive and to store emails,
to build up a contacts list and to use a calendar and yes to print off
occasional emails.

Well that is not much compared to the hundreds of things Outlook does. Then
again I could do all that from free webmail so maybe I shall just have to
give up on Outlook. There is no point in using both.

Thanks
Jesper
