outlook 2003 wont send or download mail

Strange problem. This morning had a IP conflict and couldnot get into the
internet and Outlook 2003 couldnot sign in. Resolve the problem but now
outlook 2003 wont send or receive mail. In the email accounts - tested the
email accounts and it is working and sending the test mail. Can see this in
the webmail. But would not download mail as I can see the mail in the
webmail. No errors message Outlook 2003 says sending/receiving complete but
no mail downloaded. Have Mcafee Secuirty Centre but turning it off does not
solve the problem. I have 2 add-ins Business Update Manager and Spamfighter.
The mail in the outbox is in italics. Running under XP Pro. Any help on this
is highly appreciated.
 
tis a case of helping yourself when you need it to work!. Under Help - the
Detect and Repair did the trick. I guess something got corrupted and got
fixed using this option. Just to share that this was fixed. Cheers
