I've gone through the various steps of removing my account, then readding it,
I've tripple checked all the information and its correct. All my server info
is right... I noticed tons of problems with Outlook and Comcast...

I can't send or recieve... I go through the motions but my outbox stays
full and none of my email transfers over. I've done the test email and that
complete's but never goes into Outlook.

Please help!!!!

Your last sentence puzzles me. Please explain what you mean by "...but never
goes into Outlook". Your answer could be the key to the problem.

Do you have antivirus software? Try disabling the email integration in it,
as well as any third-party spam filters. Both of these applications sit
between you and any mail server you connect to, so removing them from the
equation is the first step.

I never get any email in my outlook. its as though its stuck in recieving
these emails. I can watch the progress and I see this to be true when I try
to send and recieve.

thanks

Sometimes you have to uninstall the Outlook plugin in your AV app, rather
than simply disabling. Occasionally you have to uninstall entirely the AV
app, prior to reinstalling it without the mail scanning plugin

OK...that helps. I have Comcast for my home e-mail and I use Outlook. Each
time I have seen this problem it has always been an Outlook configuration
problem. Have you checked Comcast's support pages? They have nice specific
instructions (with screen shots) on how to configure Outlook. Pay close
attention to the username/password/authentication portion as I think that is
where your problem might lie.

Of course, there could be something else amiss to cause this, but it's best
to start with the "easy" solutions first. Please post back with an update.
