Outlook 2003, while typing a new message, typing is delayed.

I have Office 2003. In Outlook, when I'm typing a new message, my typing is
delayed and I can't see what I've typed unless I stop for a minute to let it
"catch up". All other office applications are not doing this and it does not
happen in things like I'm typing now. Only in Outlook. I've tried detect
and repair, did not work. What could be causing this...it's very frustrating
and takes forever to type an email message.

Are you running IE6 or IE7?

Thanks to "Roady":

"Outlook 2003 and previous use Internet Explorer to render HTML. A
recent security update for IE sports a new anti-phishing mechanism that
also scans the sites listed in Restricted Zones. Sadly due to Outlook's
IE dependency it will check it for Outlook too well composing new emails
EVERY TIME you type a character. I have reported the issue to Microsoft
already a while back. The current workaround is to keep the amount of
sites listed in the Restricted Zone to a minimum."
