Outlook 2003 vs. Outlook Pocket PC 2002

I have a desktop with Windows 2000 and Outlook 2003 with all the latest
updates, and service packs.

I am thinking about the purchase of a Pocket PC, but the HP ones I am
looking at only have Outlook 2002.

I have a business calendar and a personal calendar in my Outlook 2003. I
would like to be able to synch the two calendars I have (and keep them
separate of course) between my desktop with Outlook 2003 and my Pocket PC
which would have Outlook 2002.

Will this work?

Thanks,

Pocket PC will use whatever version is installed on your desktop. Do NOT
install the PPC Outlook that comes with your PPC. You will be fine.

Milly:

Thanks for your reply.

I presume that Outlook for PPC will come pre-installed on the the PPC. When
you say to not install the software that comes with the PPC, don't I need
Outlook on my PPC and how would I get it on there otherwise?

Thanks

The outlook disk that comes with the ppc is for the desktop machine only.
'pocket outlook' is installed with the ppc operating system.

If you already have outlook installed on your desktop, you don't need the
one that came on the disk with the ppc.
