Outlook 2003 upgrade problem

I upgraded my laptop from XP Professional to Office 2003 and now when trying
to launch Outlook I get an error message that states, " Cannot start
Microsoft Office Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set of
folders could not be opened." I set Outlook to connect to my exchange server
and when I try to log-in it craps out, the error message is generated, and
Outlook shuts down.

Has anyone encountered this problem and is there any easy way to fix?

Thanks.

Have you tried creating a new mail profile via the mail applet in the
control panel? (do not copy the exising profile. create a new one and try
starting outlook with that new profile. if it works, then go delete the old
one.)

Thanks. Evidently my exchange server id got "damaged" during the migration.
Everything is working better now.

Thanks again.
