Outlook 2003 stays in Offline mode

When attached to the Network via a Wireless card, Outlook 2003 stays in
Offline mode until send/recv are clicked. It downloads mail and goes right
back into Offline mode. Does not happen when hard wired and only started
happening after being upgraded to Outlook 2003? Have set connection state to
Auto, auto send/recv times to 1 minute and it still does not stay online? Any
ideas?

Open Outlook
In the bottom right hand corner you will see it states that it is offline.
Try right mousing on this and select Online"
