Outlook 2003 should allow me to drag emails directly into shortcu.

Previous versions of Outlook allwed me to drag emails directly into shortcuts
to network folders. The new "improved" version will not allow me to drag
them directly. I now have to open the folder, drag the email into the opened
window, then close the window. This is a MAJOR change that affects my work.
Has anyone figured out how to do it?

that functionality was removed from Outlook. You need to access the file
system, as you have discovered, from outside of Outlook.
And here they were thinking nobody used it!
