Outlook 2003 Sending

G

Guest

I have tried to send a message with an 85MB attachment. (Probably a bit
silly really!)

However, Outlook says it sending, but it never seems to finally send -
Outlook runs for 3 or 4 hours (I have DSL!!) and still does not ever
reach a final point of the send.

This is of course, also slowing down my whole system

I can see the message in the Outbox, but I am unable to delete it. (I
can get the controls to delete, but it will NOT delete the email)

Anyone have any ideas how I can stop the send and delete the message?

All help is much appreciated

Silly is right. I would expect most companies, including ISPs to limit
message size, at least by default.

Start Outlook from the run line.... Start-->Run outlook.exe /nopollmail
This way Outlook won't start the send/receive process on startup and you
should be able to delete the message.
For Outlook commandline switches:

Perhaps try www.yousendit.com. Register and you can send 100MB attachments
free.
