Outlook 2003 Rules - Stop processing

A

Aimee D Wood

I'm seeing strange behavior from the "Stop processing more rules" option in
my Outlook2003 rules. Has anyone else seen this or found a way to work
around it?

It's my understanding that "Stop processing more rules" should only take
effect if the incoming message matches the condition for that rule. However,
what I'm seeing is that, if I add "Stop processing more rules" to any of my
rules, the ones after that one never get executed. Apparently the stop
processing is applied whether or not my incoming message matches the
condition for that rule.

Thanks for any help,
Aimee

Sorry about that! Thanks for letting me know. My newsreader has been acting
up lately, and I didn't see my original come through, or the replies. I'll
try Google and hopefully can find them there.

Thanks,
Aimee

I am having the same problem but I don't the advantage of knowing where in
the world Aimee's prior post is located. Please point me that direction so
that I don't have to bother you with the same question Aimee asked.

Thanks.
