Which version of exchange server are you using? As long as the address
the
message was sent to is one of your SMTP addresses it should not reply to
it.

Hi Diane,
Thanks for your quick reply. I'm afraid I dont understand your response
however. The problem is that now under 2003 it is sending the reply to
all
to me as well, whereas before in 2000 it didnt (how we want it to be)
When you click "reply to all" on an external email in 2003 you are
included in the TO field of the response. When clicking "reply to all"
on
the same email in Outlook 2000 however you are not included in the TO
list.
THe only visable differences are that in 2003 my name appears as
(e-mail address removed) (external address) in the
recipients
field of the original email. In 2000 my name appears as russell daniel
(internal address)
If that makes any sense to you?
:
Previous versions of Outlook had a problem knowing who you were, so if
you
had more than one account in the profile, Outlook replied to all
addresses.
Outlook 2003 fixed that - it removes your address from reply to all
provided
the address matches the one in your profile.

When I receive an external email and click reply to all
Outlook 2003 puts my address in the to list of the reply
as well. If I reply to the exact same email in Outlook
2000 it doesnt include me in the reply!!!! Whats going on?
Why is 2003 doing this?
Many Thanks for any assistance or comments.
