Outlook 2003 on Windows XP (home) "folder synchronization" problem

Is there an equivalent of scanpst.exe for Office 11? I see reference to it
in posts about Office 12 hang problems. When I do a send/recieve I recieve OK
but the send doesn't complete and the tool bar notifyer sticks in "Outlook is
trying to synchronize your folder" mode. Tried to run scanpst.exe but that
executable is not in Office11; trying to run it from the Run command produces
"no such file" error message.

This all started when I tried accidentally sent a message with a 100 MB
attachment, didn't mean to do that.

Help appreciated.

Scanpst is included with Office 11; on my machine, its located at:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\MSMAPI\1033
