Outlook 2003 Newsreader

Are there known problems with initializing the Newsreader in Outlook 2003?

I configured the reader via CUSTOMIZE to add "News" from the "GO" menu. It
worked once; however, subsequently, I can no longer find the "News" option
in either the drop-down menu or the source for the customize process.

No know problems.
The method to restore the News command has been posted here countless times.
Here's countless and one:
To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click the No
button.
